Wedding in Pelion at Lions Nine Hotel 

See how a young couple from Germany planned their wedding on Pelion

Kim and Sebastian, a wonderful young couple from Germany, found their search for an idyllic wedding leading them to Pelion and to Lions Nine Hotel. We shared their worries, joy, fears, concerns and enthusiasm about planning a wedding on Pelion. The planning began several months before the wedding, allowing us to offer them our best in order to make their wedding unforgettable.
They decided to have their wedding in the beautiful Damouchari, the only natural harbour in the whole of eastern Pelion. Its name speaks of love (or in the name of love) or, according to others, it is a prayer for grace during difficult times. It is a location of astounding beauty and serenity, uniquely picturesque and colourful, maintaining the pristine, wild beauty of the landscape.

 

Pelion is an idyllic location for a wedding

The couple, their families and guests arrived on enchanting Pelion five days before the wedding. Everything was perfectly organised and arranged for the day of the ceremony.
Our hotel was decorated with lanterns, lace, driftwood, pebbles, flowers and our own handmade creations in different shades of ivory.

We will never forget the lovely moments we shared helping the bride and bridesmaids get ready in the luxury Azalea Suite 6.

The bride chose a romantic wedding dress with lace, which suited her perfectly: she was beautiful and radiant. Surprise, she chose not to wear bridal shoes, opting for foot chains instead – a truly amazing idea, which Kim carried off effortlessly.
The wedding ceremony took place on 05/09/2015 at Cleopatra’s Miramare: the deep blue Aegean Sea and the rocky, imposing beach of Damouchari provided the perfect backdrop.
The couple exchanged wedding vows beside the sea and under the clear sky.
The setting was idyllic and meticulously prepared. The wedding festivities lasted till dawn, the couple and their guests dancing, drinking and enjoying well-prepared dishes of traditional Greek cuisine.

Our mission was not yet complete: over the next few days we helped the newly-weds and their families to rest, relax and enjoy the beauty of Pelion.
We succeeded!!!

They all left with the fondest of memories, filled with vivid images and emotions.

To our dearest Sebastian and Kim, we wish them happiness from the bottom of our hearts: may they always be healthy, happy and in love. Thank you for your trust.
